A month after his wife's death, Max is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl. Meanwhile, his daughter Wendie returns to high school and tries to get her life back to normal with her friends. But a strange disappearance turns everything upside down.

While Max, Lucie, and Jean-Guy organize a search party to find Gwen, Wendie flatly refuses to accept what is happening to her. But when Léa and Nathan tell her they have found a way to communicate with her grandmother, the teenager finally resigns herself to helping them.

Wendie, Léa, and Nathan research the founding families of Harz and learn more about the folklore and mythology that inspired the culprit. Max and Lucie set up a stakeout to keep a close watch on their only suspect.

Refusing to believe the case is closed, Max begins to lose his grip. Meanwhile, Wendie uncovers secrets surrounding her mother’s death and confronts her father. It is an opportunity for both of them to revisit Sarah’s final day and the circumstances of her death.

Time is running out! Wendie is in the hands of the person behind the attacks. To find her, Max questions Léa and Nathan and must set aside his rational convictions to consider the possibility of the impossible. From that moment on, everyone prepares for battle...
