Sven Tumba is one of Sweden's greatest athletes of all time, a national team member in ice hockey, soccer and golf. His charisma caused everything from the audience on the arenas to the royal house to melt. Everything was open to the national idol, but what do unreserved tributes do to a human being? Boundlessness would follow him in love, sports and business. With a unique archive material, the film becomes a journey throughout the 20th century where two completely different families radiate together, with Sven and his wife Mona in the center. The Johansson family, later Tumba, has roots in the Berlin of famine and depression. Mona Nessim's family belongs to Stockholm's society with a large apartment on Östermalm and a country house in Saltsjöbaden. Mona and Sven's romance are a shock to her parents who think that a sports star is not nice enough for the Nessim family. A versatile and unadorned portrait of life behind the headlines by the filmmaker Jens Lind. Part 1 of 2.

Sven Tumba is at the peak of his career. He is the first Swede to play in the NHL and win World Cup gold in ice hockey three times. In addition, he has managed to marry Mona Nessim despite her parents' strong opposition. In this family story, Mona ends up in the middle of the two most important men in her life - Tumba and her own father Nils. Dad is a globetrotter and successful businessman. Sven is the entrepreneur with a thousand scattered ideas. In the press he is described as a millionaire, but in reality Mona often doesn't have the money to buy food for her children. Things do not get any better from Sven's many affairs with other women. After a long hockey career, Tumba becomes a national team player in golf. He dreams of becoming part of world politics and invites the presidents of the Soviet Union and the United States to a meeting at his golf course in Moscow. His ideas are limitless, as are his financial mistakes. By the filmmaker Jens Lind. Part 2 of 2.
