Five retired special forces—Ah Long, Ah Hu, Ah Bao, Ah Niu, and Eagle—are now in their seventies, living separate lives. When their old muse Qianwen invites them to her 60th birthday, Eagle declines, but the others head to Malaysia. Midway, their bus is ambushed by robbers, and the four elders bravely fight back.

The elders are shaken to learn Qianwen is terminally ill. Since she missed Eagle, she entrusts them with a letter.
