The 3rd Till Last Episode - Ooh ya!! I remember that incident during the Last Choice Holidays item, fifteen minutes in. I've talked about this in forum chats before. It was absolutely brutal. Whatever went on backstage, Richard Bacon should not have dealt with it on air in the manner he did, IMO. I honestly believe that's one of the most savage things I've ever seen broadcast on TV, certainly in a light entertainment show. I appreciate that The Big Breakfast had always been presented in a style which drew upon the personal lives of the hosts to some degree, chatting about what they got up to at the weekend and whatnot, but I really don't think he should have brought that in to the show. That was something to be dealt with privately. That poor girl, she didn't deserve that. She was clearly holding back tears. How she didn't get up and thump him one, I'll never know. There was an element of nastiness in the humour during the final year.

The last ever episode of The Big Breakfast. Hosted by Richard Bacon and Amanda Byram. Featuring impressionist Jon Culshaw, Vanessa Feltz, Richard Whiteley. Mike "Squeaky" McClean finds the gnome a new home. They vote for their favourite ever BB clip. An early celebration of their 10th birthday. A special outside broadcast from Keith Chegwin in Stevenage. Johnny Vegas and his usual shenanigans. Super Fan Corner quiz. Viewer Val Gallagher (nee Robins) describes how BB ruined her life. British UK garage and hip hop collective the So Solid Crew perform in the garden. Previous hosts reminisce about their time on the show. Lucy Benjamin (Eastenders) is interviewed in 'The Crunch'. Zig demonstrates what career path he will be taking after the show, (this could not be broadcast today).
