One winter day, Tae-hyeon (Jeong Seong-yoon) and Chae-ri (Lee Yu-ri), dressed in school uniforms, run into the university admissions announcement room, breathing heavily. Chae-ri, who was preoccupied only with checking her own acceptance, asks Tae-hyeon about her passing as if she had suddenly remembered. Tae-hyeon says that no matter how much he looks for his name, he says he prefers that Chae-ri passed. For Tae-hyeon, who gave her a present for Chae-ri, who is going to Seoul tomorrow, Chae-ri says she will grant her wish, saying just say anything. However, Taehyung is only shy and he cannot tell his wish. Chaeri, who is on the train to Seoul, asks to meet her at her school next year. Tae-hyun, who entered a spartan-style retraining academy to meet Chae-ri, devotes himself to studying with Sang-hyeok (Moon Ji-yoon). Meanwhile, Cheri joins a hang gliding circle with Suyeong (Shoo) and meets Jun (Gong Yoo) there... .

Tae Hyeon sneaks out of his cram school to see Chae Ri, but is left disappointed when she greets him with an annoyed expression. Chae Ri’s mind is completely occupied with Seo Jun, leaving no room for Tae Hyeon at all. Meanwhile, Seo Jun seems to be interested in something—or someone—else…

After studying desperately, Tae Hyeon finally gets accepted into the same university as Chae Ri, only to discover that she already has someone she likes. On the other hand, eager to get closer to Seo Jun, Chae Ri starts living together with her friend Su Yeong, who happens to live across the hall from him… but things don’t go as smoothly as planned.

Despite Chae Ri’s objections, Tae Hyeon joins the same club as her. Soon after, Tae Hyeon’s friends Sang Hyeok and Seok, along with Min Hui—who joins the club solely because of Seo Jun—enter the picture, turning the club into a lively and chaotic place.

Tae Hyeon is discouraged when Chae Ri still won’t look his way. Seeing this, his friend Sang Hyeok decides to show Chae Ri how cool Tae Hyeon really is—and, without thinking it through, boldly challenges Seo Jun to a basketball match.

Believing that Chae Ri would give up if Seo Jun had a girlfriend, the ever-loyal Sang Hyeok hatches a plan to set Seo Jun up with Su Yeong. He pushes the two of them into doing a scouting trip for the club training camp together. However, the plan backfires in an unexpected way.

While heading out to scout the training camp location, Chae Ri and Seo Jun miss their boat and are unable to return home. They end up spending the night at an inn—but there is only one room available. As the night grows deeper and Seo Jun realizes Chae Ri’s true feelings, what choice will he make?

While drinking at a bar, Sang Hyeok is suddenly kissed by a complete stranger. To his shock, when he goes to school the next day, that very woman appears right in front of him. Meanwhile, Chae Ri is overjoyed after being kissed by Seo Jun, but her happiness is short-lived when his sudden change in attitude leaves her deeply hurt.

Gathering her courage, Chae Ri invites Seo Jun to a concert. Tae Hyeon also plans to ask Chae Ri to the same concert, but never finds the right moment—and the day arrives before he can say anything. When Tae Hyeon shows up at the venue alone, he unexpectedly spots Chae Ri there…

At Min Hui’s suggestion, the group decides to play Manito, a game where partners are chosen by lottery and exchange gifts in secret. Chae Ri draws Seo Jun as her partner, but her feelings grow complicated as she senses that he has been deliberately avoiding her.

Hoping to help Chae Ri move on from Seo Jun, Su Yeong introduces her to another man. Unfortunately, he’s far from impressive. Even so, Chae Ri convinces herself that this is her revenge on Seo Jun and boldly starts pursuing the date… but things don’t go quite as she imagined.

Unable to watch Chae Ri sink deeper into sadness, Tae Hyeon goes to see Seo Jun and asks him to be kinder to her. However, Seo Jun’s response is cold and dismissive. Tae Hyeon’s distrust toward Seo Jun only continues to grow… but then—

To create an excuse to meet alone, Sang Hyeok and Su Yeong start a study group, but too many people end up joining, ruining their plan. Meanwhile, Chae Ri and Tae Hyeon—who haven’t been attending the study sessions and have been spending more time together—are suddenly hit with shocking news!

The club members learn that Seo Jun will be studying abroad. Still unable to let go of her feelings for him, Chae Ri finds herself unable to say goodbye with a smile. As everyone reflects on their shared memories, the day of parting draws ever closer
