In Les Saintes, when Stéphanie wakes up, she realizes with horror that she was raped during the night. Even though she remains silent, two further assaults occur. The authorities are sceptical, and only Karine Jablonski - a young gendarme who has just arrived in town - considers the possibility that the victims may have been targeted by the same rapist.

A fourth rape occurs; the victim is a physiotherapist named Nafissa. Determined to move the investigation forward, Karine joins forces with Romain Novak - Stéphanie’s brother, a suspended police captain who has returned to town to battle his own demons.

Stéphanie’s revelation that she was raped sends shock waves through the community and her own relationship. Diego struggles to cope with learning the terrible truth at the same time as everyone else. Stéphanie, Isabelle, Camille, and Nafissa decide to join forces and speak out in the face of institutional denial and silence.

The rapist has struck again, narrowly escaping Romain and Karine. The net is beginning to tighten, and the gendarmes are exploring new leads. But nothing is moving fast enough for the victims - especially for Camille, who, consumed by anger and an obsession with justice, is becoming increasingly extreme in her pursuit of the truth.

Camille’s death leaves the city in shock, while Nafissa narrowly escapes another attack. She fights back, managing to defend herself and severely wounding her assailant, who nonetheless succeeds in fleeing. Is this the end of the hunt?

Romain and Karine believe they have finally identified the rapist, but he slips through their fingers once again - and this time, fear descends upon the city, for no one knows what he might do now that his identity has been revealed.
