Seol-ah follows the patient, who looks like Jin-ho, to his room and runs into Ju-ryun. Seol-ah leaves the hospital to look for Jin-ho, and Mi-sun is worried about her as she disappears like Jin-ho did. Meanwhile, Ju-ryun and Jeong-in take Jin-ho to their home and plan to build him up as a secret star of their agency.

Meanwhile, Jeong-in jumps to promote the new drama Woo-jin will be starring as the main lead but becomes completely shocked when she reads the synopsis belatedly to find out it is a story about Tae-chang and her.

Jeong-in wants to meet Writer Jin-kyung to call off the contract. However, Ju-ryun and Hyun-woo can't understand her as they'll suffer a lot of damage if they give up on the drama. Meanwhile, Seol-ah and Eun-byeol run into Woo-jin and realize he doesn't recognize them. Therefore, she decides to find out what happened to him.

Jeong-in and Ju-ryun encounter Seol-ah during the table read, oblivious to her real identity. Seol-ah and Woo-jin grow closer as they clandestinely spend time together, deepening their understanding of each other. Ju-ryun suspects their hidden bond and attempts to take Woo-jin's phone away.

After talking with Ju-ryun on the phone and learning that she is looking for Woo-jin, Hyun-woo heads back to Seol-ah's house and realises Hyun-woo is inside. Hyun-woo finds Seol-ah and Woo-jin's relationship suspicious after noticing Seol-ah trying to hide him inside. Meanwhile, Hyun-woo asks his mother to invest in his drama to help with the funding.

With Hyun-woo's invitation, Jeong-in visits Sun-ae's house and is promised an investment by Sun-ae. Ju-ryun's suspicion of Seol-ah and Woo-jin's relationship compels her to unlock Woo-jin's old phone. Miraculously, she succeeds and sees all the old photos of Woo-jin and Seol-ah together.

Seol-ah, invited to Tae-chang’s house, unexpectedly stumbles upon Woo-jin’s old phone and manages to sneak it out. Meanwhile, Tae-chang discovers Sun-ae's true identity and insists Jeong-in return Sun-ae’s investment, but Jeong-in refuses. Amidst this, Tae-chang witnesses Seol-ah and Mi-sun together as he investigates Mi-sun's background.

Ju-ryun discovers the phone that Seol-ah left for Woo-jin and, enraged, storms off to confront her. Meanwhile, Jeong-in, who has been investigating the relationship between Mi-sun and Seol-ah, learns that Mi-sun has adopted Seol-ah and heads straight to Mi-sun. Woo-jin is at Seol-ah’s place and has a confrontation with Jeong-in, who also arrives there.

Jeong-in is actively searching for a replacement writer to prevent Seol-ah from further detailing her life story. She assigns other writers to take over the scripts. In an interview, Seol-ah discloses that "Poker Face" is an autobiographical drama, causing anxiety for Tae-chang and Jeong-in. Meanwhile, Seol-ah discovers that the scripts for the reading are not hers, leading to her fury.

Min Tae-chang’s attempt to kidnap Seol-ah goes in vain as Jin-ho helps her. Jin-ho gets hurt while trying to help Seol-ah, which leads to postponing the drama shoot. Hyun-woo visits Jin-ho and tells him to stop shaking up Seol-ah, but Jin-ho confesses that he likes her. After hearing Jin-ho’s feelings for Seol-ah, Ju-ryun decides to make a move on Jin-ho.

Min Tae-chang decides to let Ju-ryun and Jin-ho get married, but Jeong-in is against it. Jeong-in secretly runs a DNA test to see if Jin-ho is her biological son. A few days later, the result arrives at her office, and Min Tae-chang, who happens to be there, sees it himself.

Tae-chang tells Ju-ryun he supports her marriage to Woo-jin, leaving Woo-jin unsure of how to react. After gaining Tae-chang's full support, Ju-ryun intentionally releases a scandal involving her and Woo-jin. Jeong-in is furious when she discovers this. Ju-ryun realizes that Jin-ho's memories are back, and she demands to know who Seol-ah is. She makes Jin-ho choose between her and Seol-ah, and Jin-ho chooses Ju-ryun by proposing to her with a ring. Ju-ryun goes over to Seol-ah's and warns her to stay away from Jin-ho.

Seol-ah collapses when Woo-jin tells her that everything between them is completely over. In response, Ji-yeon reveals what she knows about Woo-jin online, and the information quickly goes viral, leading to a significant backlash against him. To address this, Woo-jin returns to Seol-ah with a fake smile, seeking a favor from her.

Jeong-in decides the most effective approach is to confront the rumors directly, so he places Woo-jin in front of a press conference. At the event, Woo-jin reveals that he has suffered from amnesia and insists that he is accountable for everything, despite the circumstances. Nanda and Mi-sun are left perplexed by Woo-jin’s statements and are preparing to take action against him. Meanwhile, Young-seok threatens Tae-chang, warning that he will reveal his troubling past.

Eun-byeol manages to retrieve Ju-ryun’s ring, which rightfully belongs to her, and returns it to Seol-ah. Despite trying to move on after seeing how Woo-jin treats her, Seol-ah struggles deeply, with the ring only intensifying her heartache. Tae-chang, after encountering Young-seok, finds himself reminiscing about his son, Jong-hyuk.

Jeong-in forces Hyun-woo to do something about the late script she is waiting for by threatening to ask the TV station for a different writer, and Hyun-woo has no choice but to visit Seol-ah.

Seol-ah stirs up trouble for Ju-ryun by manipulating Woo-jin emotionally, leaving Ju-ryun stunned that Woo-jin fell for such an obvious ploy. Later, Seol-ah wakes up to find her house vandalized with frightening messages scrawled on the walls. Distressed, she decides to stay with Mi-sun for safety. Meanwhile, Hyun-woo is determined to do whatever it takes to track down the culprit.

Jeong-in tries to use the assistant writer's scripts during filming to cover up the details of her crimes. Meanwhile, Seol-ah barges into Jeong-in’s office and overwhelms her with questions regarding the recent break-in at her home. Noticing Jeong-in's lack of awareness about the incident, Seol-ah suspects Tae-chang might be responsible. Sun-ae eventually explains to Hyun-woo the deeply troubled nature of the relationship between Jeong-in and Seol-ah.

Seol-ah agrees to a confrontation with Jeong-in, but she is taken aback by the absurdity of Jeong-in's demands. After flatly rejecting Jeong In’s offer, she finds herself the target of Jeong-in’s backup plan, an attempted abduction. This plot is quickly thwarted by the intervention of Mi-sun and Il-joong. As the true nature of her enemies becomes clear, Seol-ah's resolve hardens, fueling a newfound determination to confront the depths of their wickedness.

Due to Seol-ah's absurd helicopter scene in the script, Jeong-in asks Sun-ae for an investment. However, Sun-ae offers a loan instead, and Jeong-in becomes conflicted. Meanwhile, Hyun-woo struggles to mediate the conflict between Seol-ah and Jeong-in but promises Seol-ah he will get Jeong-in to apologize for stepping on her script.

Feeling anxious, Woo-jin confronts Seol-ah to learn the truth about that day and requests Il-joong's dashcam footage. Meanwhile, Mi-sun and Il-joong discover that Nanda has secretly brought Young-seok along.
