The epic treasure hunt across Japan begins in Tokyo, as six young Brits who’ve never travelled alone are introduced to their new teammates - six pensioners who thought they’d never travel again!

The treasure hunters arrive in Kyoto, famed for its stunning temples and rich cuisine. As some teams bond, others clash. With the stakes rising, no one's safe in the quest for £50k.

Five teams are still in the race for £50k as the treasure hunt reaches Hiroshima. Partnerships are pushed to breaking point, and another duo are ditched at a dramatic coin count.

The treasure hunt heats up in Japan's kitchen, Osaka, as the four remaining duos tackle the first group challenge. Bonds deepen before a shock departure shakes up the competition.

The treasure hunt reaches its final stop as the last three duos face the toughest challenges yet in a high-stakes finale. Who'll take home the £50k and an unlikely friend for life?
