Ever since they were in the womb, Boris (Mathias Muchus) and Rintan (Murti Sari Dewi) were destined to be married, because Rekso (Pitrajaya Burnama), Boris’s father, owed a debt of gratitude to Barno (Zainal Abidin), Rintan’s father. Fate had other plans. Rekso became a wealthy businessman, while Barno became a security guard at Rekso’s company. Mrs. Rekso (Ade Irawan) then decided there was no need to honor the promise once Rintan and Boris graduated from college, even though Boris deeply loved Rintan. Barno was even fired.
