Singapore has a double-crisis on her hands: firstly, a Livestream Killer goes online and asks people to cast their vote online in order to determine whether a victim he has captured and tortured should live or die; then, convicted serial killer Derek Ho - sentenced to hang within the week - breaks out of captivity and is now loose on the island nation.

What was the motive? The lawyers, meanwhile, must contend with the defence of a man accused of killing a pregnant Filipino maid.
