A little girl is born in Värmland with a special ability. Inside her is a creature that can tell the most horrifyingly frightening and shimmeringly beautiful stories. But she won't obey her father. At the end of the 19th century, the whole world is on the move for the new century. New inventions and ideas make anything seem possible! After the First World War, she sees history repeating itself for the next, but never stops believing in the power of love to change. She farms at Mårbacka and practices yoga, letting her inner creative being guide her pen to the very end.
