ASR decides to raise a toast with bhaang and not champagne because Khushi doesn’t drink it! He’s surprised that Khushi hasn’t come home because he had asked his di to tell her that he wasn’t well. The doorbell rings and ASR opens the door only to find his ‘Hello, hi, bye bye’ maamiji! She tells him that she’s come on Khushi’s behalf to spy on him. She has also brought gifts for him and Khushi and just before leaving, makes him hear Khushi’s angry message!

ASR receives Khushi’s message saying she’s going to Lucknow to meet her parents and buaji. ASR remembers the time he had forgotten Khushi’s birthday and how her buaji had taken him to task.
