A strong contender for the title of 'weirdest year in pop', 1976 marked the birth of The Sex Pistols and saw hits from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Joan Armatrading, Dolly Parton and Wings, and had John Miles celebrating music of both the future and the past. And yet, the year's biggest-selling single was Brotherhood of Man's Eurovision-winning Kisses for Me, and the cider-loving Wurzels somehow managed to plough their way to the top of the charts. This collection captures all those musical highs and lows, alongside performances from Elton John and Kiki Dee, Cliff Richard and The Rolling Stones, as well as a special double dose of the 1970s' very own 'fab four' - ABBA.
