Travel to Thessaly, from the Meteora monasteries to Mount Pelion, homeland of the Centaurs, and to Olympus. The journey begins by taking a tumultuous river, popular with kayakers, towards Meteora and their famous monasteries, erected in the Middle Ages on very steep sites. The journey continues to the cave of a former hermit, and with the discovery of Mount Pelion, homeland of the Centaurs. The gods would have rested there after their stay on Olympus.
