Bereaved and recently single, Éric is driven by an urgent desire to become a father. Supported by his friend Catherine, he dives into the world of LGBTQ+ dating and rediscovers the codes of seduction.

When an old friend of his mother's resurfaces at the pet shop, Éric gets bogged down in a series of disappointing encounters and unrealistic proposals. Parenthood seems further away than ever.

Éric explores the possibility of co-parenting, but things don't work out the way he wants. Until he meets Lily, who changes all that...

Depressed, Éric settles scores with his father, and a little with himself. An unexpected delivery pushes him out of his black hole.

Éric has finally come to terms with his grief and is gradually regaining control of his life. Some big decisions will slowly but surely bring him closer to his dream.
