전체 에피소드

Rutger speaks to people who, each in their own way, wonder where they truly belong. Raja grew up as the daughter of migrant workers but no longer feels welcome after her return to the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, he meets Firoza, a queer Muslim woman who feels alienated in her own neighborhood. Rutger also speaks to Oliveira, who ended up in the Netherlands after the civil war in Angola and firmly believes in the opportunities this country offers.

Rutger meets Alex, who, after years of addiction and homelessness, is trying to give direction to his life again through his drawings. At hairdresser Yahia's, Rutger hears how her successful existence in the Netherlands coexists with a critical view of new Syrian refugees. In Ter Apel, Rutger speaks with Ashe, an American trans refugee who hopes to feel safe specifically in the Netherlands, while it is uncertain whether she will be allowed to stay.

Rutger meets Sevda, who regained her freedom after a forced marriage and built a new life in the Netherlands. Next, he spends a day with Polish migrant worker Zbyszek, who became homeless, and shows what it is like to survive on the streets. Finally, Rutger returns to the Syrian boys from the first episode. How have they fared, and have they come closer to the future they hoped for?
