“A story of unrequited love, of goals and means, idealism and cowardice. But above all, it is a captivating story about mastering life.”
An old woman, who lives alone in a large apartment in Copenhagen, dies in 1933. In her apartment hangs a painting of a young, red-haired, smiling woman.
