Parasar was very fond of music from his childhood. He wanted to learn music, but his grandfather Kunja was not so interested about his passion. Later Parasar forcefully went to music teacher and became a good singer. After few years, he went to Ramlochan Sharma in Calcutta to learn more music. Ratri was the only child of Ramlochan babu. She had a soft corner for Parasar. After completion of learning, Parasar started to teach Minati. She was child of a rich family and not so interested to learn music. Minati's family friend Pulak did not like Parasar. Day by day Parasar was becoming more popular in Minati's family and as a result, Pulak took Parasar for a musical show in outside Bengal. However, Pulak hated Parasar. Pulak made a conspiracy and put Parasar in such a place from where Parasar was unable to come back. After a lot of effort, Ratri found Parasar in a very poor condition. He was very ill.
