A mysterious transmission from beyond the Empire draws Sotu and his team into an abandoned relay station, where a forgotten signal awakens an ancient force that should never have answered.

The crew discovers the last surviving Archive of the First Civilization, uncovering records of countless forgotten worlds while a hidden presence begins following their every move.

Beyond the Empire's known frontier, the crew reaches the legendary Ninth Horizon and uncovers the truth behind the Gateways, the Archives, and the ancient intelligence known as The Aetherion.

As the Observers descend upon reality, time itself begins to fracture, forcing the crew to confront impossible choices that could erase both the Archive and the Empire forever.

With reality collapsing and the Observers closing in, the crew faces one final decision that will determine whether history is preserved, rewritten, or allowed to begin again.
