On the evening of November 13, Sonia is at home watching the France-Germany football match with her partner, her children, and Hasna Aït Boulahcen—a deeply troubled young woman whom Sonia has taken in and protected for years. As news of the coordinated detonations and terrace shootings breaks, Paris plunges into chaos. While the family reacts with absolute horror, Hasna reacts erratically, briefly celebrating the violence before being severely reprimanded by Sonia. Within 48 hours, the nation is frozen in fear as authorities announce that key perpetrators are still at large.

Two days after the attacks, Hasna receives a cryptic phone call claiming that one of her young cousins is on the run and hiding in a ditch near a motorway. She convinces an unsuspecting Sonia to drive her to the location. Upon arrival, the "teenage cousin" emerging from the bushes is actually a thirty-something man: Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the mastermind behind the Paris massacres. Realizing the extreme danger she is in, Sonia tries to remain calm as Abaaoud boasts about their plans to strike again immediately.

Terrified but determined to act, Sonia reaches out to the French intelligence services (DGSI) and police investigators. Knowing that the terrorist cell is actively preparing a follow-up suicide attack on the bustling financial district of La Défense, the clock begins ticking. Sonia risks everything to keep close tabs on Hasna, gather actionable details, and feed the precise location of the cell's new hideout—an apartment on Rue du Corbillon in Saint-Denis—directly to the authorities.

The series culminates in the massive, violent assault launched by the elite RAID police unit on the night of November 17–18. The operation successfully neutralizes Abaaoud and his accomplices, neutralizing the immediate threat of a secondary attack. However, the immediate aftermath shifts entirely to the personal cost of Sonia's bravery. She is permanently uprooted, forced to give up her name, leave her old life behind, and navigate a highly secretive witness protection program to hide from Islamist retaliation.
