In 2002, two paintings were stolen from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. A wild tale of a spectacular heist, as told by the thieves themselves.

1994. During the opening ceremony of the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, burglars stole Edvard Munch’s most famous painting, “The Scream,” from the National Gallery in Oslo. Suspicion quickly fell on former Norwegian soccer player Pal Enger. The Norwegian police and Scotland Yard launched an undercover operation and ultimately succeeded in catching the thief.
