And then -- the trial of a "murder case" begins -- time rewinds to one year ago -- Ayame works hard every day as an excellent, solitary lawyer. One day, she is invited as a panelist to a domestic violence victim seminar held by a women's group where charismatic businessman Yoko Mogami (Misuzu Kanno) serves as a director, and there she meets a woman. The pretty woman, who calls herself Natsune Minamoto (Kana Kita), works as a manicurist at the salon run by Yoko, and her husband and Yoko's son Jun (Motoki Ochiai) were classmates in high school, so she and her husband are living in a detached room in Yoko's house.
