Part 1: In A Wombat's World Серия 1

South of mainland Australia, Tasmania is home to remarkable wildlife found nowhere else on Earth. In this episode, wombats take center stage as they navigate rugged highlands, unpredictable weather, seasonal food shortages, flooding, and increasing human impact. Alongside Tasmanian devils and other unique species, these resilient marsupials adapt to life in one of the world's most distinctive and fragile ecosystems.

Part 2: Along a Platypus' Path Серия 2

Tasmania's rugged landscapes, ancient rainforests, and cool waterways provide a sanctuary for some of the world's most unusual wildlife. This episode follows the platypus, a rare egg-laying mammal that hunts underwater using its remarkable electroreception. As local conservation efforts work to protect its fragile habitat, the film explores the challenges and wonders of life in one of Earth's most distinctive ecosystems.

Сезон 1: 2 серии

Tasmania's unusual location between hot Australia and cold Antarctica makes for a uniquely harsh mix of weather phenomena, as well as the many, extremely diverse, landscapes in one spot: white sandy beaches, snow-capped mountains, glistening highland lakes, ancient rainforest jungles, peatlands, steep sea cliffs - home to rare and strange endemic animals and plants, including the last survivors of the ancient southern supercontinent Gondwana.
