Guan Chao, Fang Tang, and the heavy defender Qian Jun intercept a fully materialized Bug entity that has completely weaponized the host's everyday anxieties and professional burnout. As the boundary between the host's actual past and the corrupted memory blurs, Guan Chao begins to question if his own memories of the past are entirely genuine.

As the team dives into a fractured, emotionally heavy memory layer, Guan Chao stands at a crossroads, confronting the internal storm his actions have triggered. While his Time Gun remains inactive—still desperately starved of Pyrolite (Burning Stone)—the shifting walls of the memory layer begin to bleed false illusions, personal regrets, and fabricated faces. Guan Chao faces a dangerous threat: a powerful BUG entity manifested entirely from the psychological grief of someone he deeply refuses to let go. Every strike against this entity costs him a literal piece of his own stable identity. He is forced to realize that choosing the right path to clear the corruption might mean losing the version of the past he loves forever.

The investigation turns internal as the Memory Administration Bureau itself comes under threat from a highly advanced BUG entity that mimics the administrators' own tools. Guan Chao is forced to question whether his quest to find the Burning Stone was truly an accident, or if his own memories have been systematically rewritten by the Bureau from the very start.

A malicious BUG targets Guan Chao directly by manufacturing a trap from his childhood. Under the phrase "Come play, Guan Chao," the entity weaponizes his grief and personal regrets. It creates an emotionally comforting, fabricated reality designed to keep him docility frozen in a dreamscape forever.

Guan Chao must choose between destroying the structural fabric of his original past or allowing the corrupted memory strata to permanently overwrite the real world.
