Ten years earlier, residents of Konan City sought Mishi Shiromoto's help after land reclamation left local fishermen unable to make a living. Shiromoto turned to her former law firm for assistance, despite warnings that challenging the redevelopment project could put her in conflict with Yoshichika Furuse. After confronting Furuse's election office, she receives a message from his secretary asking to meet. What she discovers there changes everything. In the present, Furuse faces media allegations involving corruption and secret funds, while Uramawashi and Yukari continue trying to clear Shiromoto's name.
