After their bachelor and bachelorette parties, Luis and Camila are in an accident. Meanwhile, Miriam and Daniel are celebrating by dancing at their wedding, but the dance floor collapses and Miriam ends up injured.

Camila, feeling pressured, agrees to marry Alonso. Isadora is happy because she has her sights set on old Daniel's fortune. Camila and Alonso go on their honeymoon, but she is driven mad by her husband's jealousy and madness.

Everyone gathers to read old Daniel's will and is surprised to hear that his entire fortune was left to a certain Daniel Díaz Acosta, who lives in Chile. If Daniel does not claim the inheritance within a year, Camila will be the sole heir.

Dionisio orders Daniel's death, but it is his wife who is injured. Alonso plans another romantic date with Camila to consummate their marriage. Isadora is afraid because she doesn't want Daniel to claim the inheritance.

Camila suspects that something might have happened when Daniel doesn't show up at the farm. Daniel is in jail on suspicion of shooting his wife. Camila decides to go to Chile to thoroughly investigate what happened.

Dionisio offers to go to Chile to meet Daniel. Abraham tells Daniel in prison that he’ll be ruined because his sister died and there’s no one left to prove his innocence.

Desperate, Daniel tries to find a way to escape from prison and avenge his wife's death. A cellmate offers to help him escape, and Daniel falls into the sea after jumping off a cliff.

Daniel is still on the run from the law and is convinced that Camila ordered his murder so she could inherit his fortune, and he wants revenge. Everyone is pressuring Camila to take over the farm, since Daniel has no intention of going anywhere.

Daniel jumps into the water, and a fisherman saves his life. Camila is surprised by everyone’s interest in her inheriting the farm. Camila and Daniel meet for the first time, and both are impressed by what they see.

Daniel follows Camila, determined to find out if she is responsible for his misfortune. Camila demands that he tell her what he wants and who he is. Isadora and Dionísio are convinced that their plan is working, but they didn't count on Daniel being so close.

Daniel arrives at the farm, and Camila hires him without knowing who he is. Afonso is furious that she hired him without his permission. Isadora is very worried because Afonso is impotent, and she fears that Camila will grow tired of him and annul the marriage.

Camila is very confused about her feelings for Daniel, and having him around at the ranch makes her nervous. Camila demands that he tell her what his intentions are at the ranch. Daniel is determined to win Camila over and then get his revenge on her.

Daniel learns that his father is the late Don Daniel and tells Father Baldomero that he will take revenge on those who hurt him. Dionisio continues with his plan to seduce Camila’s mother in order to keep “La Malquerida.”

Daniel tells Rafael about all the misfortunes he has had to endure since his wife was killed, and confesses that he is certain Camila is behind it all and that he won't rest until he exposes her.

Camila and Daniel are starting to feel attracted to each other, even though they're trying to resist it. Isadora makes up a lie so she can move into the estate and be close to Camila and Alonso. Alonso has a heart attack while he's at a motel.

Everyone is worried about Alonso, and the doctor tells them he suffered a heart attack because of a medication he took for erectile dysfunction. Camila feels humiliated and becomes so furious that she decides to drown her sorrows in alcohol at Viviana's house.

Camila sees Daniel kissing Natalia. Isadora demands that Alonso do something to win Camila back; otherwise, he’ll go to jail.

Camila demands a divorce from Alonso, but he doesn't want to lose her. Dionisio wants to take advantage of the situation to win Camila over. Viviana overhears Rafael talking to Daniel and calling him by name. She presses him to find out if he is Daniel Acosta.

Dionísio is happy because, now that the death certificate has been released, everyone will believe that Daniel is dead and the farm will be his. Daniel confesses the whole truth to Viviana and tells her the whole story, and she tells him he needs to confess everything to Camila.

Viviana confronts Dionísio about his possession of Daniel’s death certificate. The priest confesses to Alonso that Daniel is alive and leaves, determined to report him, but Leôncio, acting on Isadora’s orders, chases after him and causes him to crash into a tree.

Camila and Daniel find the priest and take him to the hospital. Isadora, fearing that the priest will speak out, is determined to kill him and asks Dionísio to hold off on issuing the death certificate.

Daniel assures that he will make each of those who hurt him pay, while he will protect Camila with his own life. Alonso asks Camila for money and makes her sign a document.

Viviana tries to convince Camila that Damián isn't right for her because she's afraid Camila will be hurt when she finds out the truth. Daniel meets with Dionisio, who offers him a large sum of money to become his ally, and he accepts.

Daniel regrets having doubted Camila and feels frustrated knowing that he knows who is responsible for all his misfortunes but can't do anything about it for now. Alonso tells the whole family that Daniel is alive.

Camila is disappointed when she sees what kind of person Alonso really is. Daniel can't stop thinking about Camila and feels guilty for having doubted her, since Camila is an incredible woman whom he is falling in love with.

Isadora manages to sneak into the boarding house where her father is staying and suffocates him with a pillow. At the wake, Alonso tries to approach Camila, and she tells him to stay away. Daniel swears at his father’s grave that he will avenge his death.

Camila and Daniel are face to face and can no longer hide their feelings. They seal their love with a kiss.

Alonso becomes increasingly interested in Ximena, who arrives at the estate to live with her mother, and it is Isadora who realizes his intentions. Dionisio asks Andrés to help him kill someone.

Rafael assures Camila that he knows Daniel Díaz Acosta. On the other hand, Isadora asks the notary for a false will, where Camila supposedly inherits all her assets from Alonso.

Isadora accepts that Alonso is not her son and confesses his origin. Meanwhile, Ximena advises Alonso not to get a divorce until Camila receives her inheritance. Aarón decides to become the new Daniel Díaz Acosta.

Alonso invites Ximena for a walk. Meanwhile, Isadora and Dionisio end up in bed and Agustina arrives unexpectedly. Also, Viviana reveals her terrible past at Bruno's side.

The passion between Alonso and Ximena is unleashed. Daniel meets with Aaron and tells him that he wants to help him, but needs him to explain in detail what his plan is. Also, Leoncio threatens Luzma, so that she doesn't say anything about her rape.

Aarón clears up Viviana's confusion about him and Rafael. Meanwhile, a lawyer arrives at La Malquerida and breaks the news that Isadora is Alonso's universal heiress and gave her the rights to the ranch.

Isadora informs Camila that she decided to accept La Malquerida; later, he kicks them out of the ranch. In turn, Natalia discovers that Dionisio and Isadora have an appointment to sign the contract for the tourist development of the ranch.

Viviana recognizes her love for Rafael and proposes that they live together. On the other hand, Commander Juárez informs Isadora that she is the main suspect in Alonso's death and could be arrested.

Isadora and Dionisio set their conditions for the new signing of the contract with Estévez and the investors. Consequently, Daniel and Camila sadly leave La Malquerida.
