Hayat Öğretmen, özel bir Lisede Edebiyat öğretmenliği yapmakta, kız kardeşi Gözde ise aynı okulda öğrenim görmektedir. Zengin ailelerin çocuklarının eğitim aldığı bu okulda eski bir mafya babası olan Cerrah’ın kardeşi Koray’ın, Gözde’ye olan takıntılı aşkı sonucu Hayat’ın işine son verilir. Hayat, kız kardeşini Koray’dan uzaklaştırmak için İstanbul’un diğer yakasındaki Gedikpaşa Anadolu Lisesi ile anlaşır. Müdür Şerif Bey’in meslek etiğine uymayan hareketleri ve öğrencilerin haylazlıklarıyla baş edip yeni yerleştiği evinin çatlak ev sahiplerine rağmen huzur bulmaya çalışan Hayat ve kardeşi için zor bir hayat başlayacaktır artık.
