Annoyed, Regina tells Alonso that she is tired of his insults for calling her a murderer. She says it's better that she isn't by his side in case he doesn't trust her.

Mario attacks Deborah for influencing the governor. He then threatens her and Cecilia and has them imprisoned.

Hugo asks Emiliano to forgive him, saying that it was not his intention to publish the video on the internet. Emiliano blames him for Florencia's death and says he will never forgive him.

Morales tells Gerardo that the party's desire is to win the presidency, whatever the cost. Gerardo considers that attacking opponents is not beneficial.

Almiron tells Regina that her father's life is at risk. Natalia tells Alonso that her father is a mafia man and asks him not to be an accomplice.

Ximena tells her mother that she was right for suspecting that her father was with another woman. She reveals that her mother was traded for the governor's wife.

Regina tells Emiliano that she and Gerardo have known each other since college and that their relationship is just professional. She also asks him to stop seeing Ximena.

Regina and Alonso argue because she considers that he only thinks about himself. Mario blames Noemi for the fight Regina and Alonso had.

Teresa insults Regina, accusing her of having stolen her husband. Gerardo tells Ximena that his mother left the clinic and that she showed up at the office making a fuss.

Things heat up between Alonso and Cecilia, but Hernan arrives in time and stops them, letting them know that Regina is on her way.

Inconsolable, Emiliano tells his mother that he found Hugo unconscious after taking pills and that he takes responsibility for it.

Susana runs away scared when she sees Mario, and that makes him worried. Ochoa shows Hugo's mother a document with the history of his business and the threat.

Natalia tells Omar resolutely that she will never be his wife again. A doctor tells Gerardo that Teresa has regained consciousness, but that her daughter has not yet.

Alonso tells Ignacio that if he stops him from taking his son, he'll let his security team take care of him. Gerardo asks Ignacio to let Alonso take his son.

In the Senate, Regina refuses a kiss from Gerardo, feeling old-fashioned. Ximena asks Gerardo to be at home to support Teresa, who has had a crisis.

Ignacio tells Gerardo that he convinced Teresa not to cause any more problems and to support him for the presidency. Gerardo threatens not to run if he interferes in his personal life.

Natalia visits Alonso in the Senate and says she can't stand living with Omar anymore. She hopes to get divorced after he becomes president. Alonso is offended by what she hears.

In the Senate, Regina asks Daniela to protect Mrs. Galindo. Omar threatens Magda not to tell anyone what happened to Natalia.

Cecilia makes Lorena consider taking the job because she will never stop being Larretas' lover and says she needs to think about her political career.

Almirón arrests “El Cuervo” and criticizes him for committing a murder and complicating everything. Ximena argues with Nayeli for giving drugs to Emiliano.

In the Senate, Regina asks Gerardo to understand that his children and their responsibilities must come first, and that's why they won't be able to be together.

Mauro advises Cecilia to end any ties with her mother, otherwise she could be publicly humiliated and Alonso could leave her.

Ignacio, desperate, asks Nayeli to explain how he can take care of her, as he feels he no longer has any control over her.

Alonso and Regina argue about the law that favors entrepreneurs. Gerardo arrives and tells Alonso that he doesn't accept the deal to be governor.

At City Hall, Mauro is worried because he considers that Ochoa has crossed the line with Noemi, who is hospitalized.

Hernan gives Cecilia all the information about Lorena and shows her a photo of Alonso kissing her.

Regina tells Alonso that she will ask for a divorce, while Lorena is sad and Cecilia laughs. Mauro gets nervous with Alonso's attitude when he is exposed by Regina.

Regina goes to the hospital to see Noemi and sees Mario leaving, which makes her apprehensive.

Cecilia enters Alonso's office inadvertently and interrupts his meeting with Lorena. Mauro advises Cecilia to control her jealousy, otherwise she could end up losing Alonso.

Gerardo and Regina say goodbye sad for not being able to be together. José confesses that Omar threatened to kill his mother if he didn't make Natalia fall in love with him.

Gerardo goes to Alonso to ask for help with Ignacio's lawsuit. Regina is worried because Emiliano is not at home and goes out to look for him with Gerardo.

Hernan proposes that Cecilia work with him and Gerardo, leaving everything behind and promoting a change in her life.

Natalia asks Mario to help her stop Omar from killing José. Gerardo tries to convince Regina that he was not responsible for installing microphones to monitor her.

Natalia considers that José is being unfair, knowing that if they were together, something could happen. Teresa decides to hide a secret from Gerardo.

Gerardo suggests that Regina not denounce Emiliano and says he supports her in any decision she makes. Emiliano confesses to Ximena what happened to Alma.

Regina argues with Alonso about the death threat he made to her. Alonso despairs at the possibility of her turning her son over to the authorities.

The shooters manage to escape from the parking lot and Gerardo is rescued. Hernan breaks the news, saddened and shocked that Cecilia refuses to see him.

Regina is still confused by Teresa's accident, who refuses to receive medical care. Emiliano refuses to stay with his father.

Alonso and Teresa decide to team up to destroy the relationship that exists between their respective spouses. Mauro tells Cecilia that he doesn't feel valued by Alonso.

Regina realizes that she is being spied on in the cabin and Gerardo goes in search of someone. Mario agrees to take over Omar's business, pretending to be his friend.

Cecilia and Magda are worried because there must be a confrontation between Alonso and Mauro that will hurt everyone. Natalia is saddened by her situation with José.

Natalia surprises Marcia in the middle of the action and orders the Chinese to remove her from the house. Omar is nervous when he thinks that Magda is in trouble.

Alonso asks Cecilia to get rid of Marcia, but she is unsure about the situation. Corvo visits Gerardo in the prison's infirmary to offer information about Mario Barcenas.

Corvo tells Gerardo about the prostitution business of Mario Barcenas, his lover Isela and their daughter Cecilia. Mario and Noemi argue over Isela and Cecilia.

Cecilia, distraught, goes to Regina's office to confront her. Regina calls her a cynic for maintaining relations with her husband and son.

The doctor manages to stabilize Cecilia's condition, but her situation is not good. Alonso arrives and she asks him to forgive her for having had relations with her son.

Hernan tells Cecilia that he loves her, but she confesses that she loves Alonso. Hernan, surprised, tells about Isela's arrest.

A gunshot is heard in Mario's house. Reporters outside cover the news and special agents enter the residence.
