In Africa, Gordon takes to the skies to see how a growing human population is affecting wildlife, from flamingos and elephants in Kenya to humpback whales off the coast of Gabon.

In South America, Gordon flies over the Amazon in search of illegal loggers, and in the Andes he meets conservationists searching for new species before their habitat is destroyed.

Crossing the Pacific, Gordon discovers how a view from above is helping protect hammerhead sharks and giant tortoises, and what it could reveal about the future of our coral reefs.

Gordon Buchanan discovers how eyes in the sky are helping protect endangered orangutans, elephants and people in south east Asia, where booming economies are taking a toll on the natural world.
