Xiao Lizi is happy, and the little cook will stay for now.

The rules of the imperial kitchen: The little cook accidentally broke the rules in the kitchen while cooking. Xiao Lizi gave special training to the little cook and barely passed, and Xiao Lizi suggested to give Cixi some meat.

Where is the meat? : Little Cook and Little Lizi searched for meat everywhere, but only found three eggs, but one egg was stolen by a mouse. When they were chasing the mouse, one egg was broken, and the other hatched a chick and ran away. In a fit of anger, the two caught mice to vent their anger. Offering a dish made of rat meat, Lafayette just took a bite and shouted: "Xiao Li Zi—!"

The queen mother is ill: Lafayette got sick after eating, Xiao Li thought it was a problem with the mouse soup, suspected it was poisonous, and locked Xiao Fugui up until the cause was found out. Xiao Fugui was in a hurry, and wanted to find out the root cause of Lafayette's condition, so he planned to escape. Lafayette's condition is getting worse, and Xiao Lizi wants to punish Xiao Fugui, but finds that he has escaped and chases after him. Xiao Fugui found the leftovers of Lafayette, found out that it was not poisonous, and learned the cause of Lafayette's disease. Xiao Lizi came and caught Xiao Fugui who was absconding in fear of crime, and told him that he could have been named the accompanying imperial cook and got the waist card, but he was sentenced to death.

Keeping people under the sword: An old doctor from a mountain village was found, and he found out that Lafayette's illness was caused by overeating, and prescribed a medicinal diet. Xiao Lizi was about to kill Xiao Fugui in order to get rid of the relationship, but news came that he wanted the chef to make a medicinal meal, so he hastily kept him under the knife. Xiao Fugui was looking for ingredients for medicinal meals, but he couldn't get them all together. He remembered his grandfather's recipe and used the existing ingredients to make medicinal meals. Lafayette recovered from a serious illness and left the town. Xiao Fugui is exempt from the death penalty, but he cannot escape the crime of living. He traveled westward with the Queen Mother to make meritorious deeds. Prompted by Xiao Lizi, Xiao Fugui decided to use pigeons to nourish Lafayette.

Carrier pigeons eat: Xiao Fugui looks for pigeons, and Xiao Lizi waits for carrier pigeons. Lafayette's life is getting better and better, but Guangxu has hallucinations due to hunger. The old doctor asked for food for diagnosis and treatment, and asked Lafayette for it. Xiao Fugui caught the pigeon, happy. However, when he was cooking, Xiao Lizi realized that it was the carrier pigeon he had been waiting for for a long time. However, Xiao Fugui sent the letter "Kill the Emperor with Poison" to Xiao Lizi without knowing the depth. Xiao Lizi was shocked, suspecting that Xiao Fugui knew the contents of the secret letter, and decided to get rid of him.

A taboo with good intentions: Xiao Fugui cooks pigeon meat in order to nourish the queen mother. Xiao Lizi came around to try to see if Xiao Fugui knew the words on the letter, and finally found out that Xiao Fugui didn't recognize them at all, so don't worry. The meal was completed, and Xiao Fugui wanted to give it to Lafayette, but there was news that the emperor was too hungry, so the kind Fugui gave it to Guangxu first, and Xiao Lizi wanted to take the opportunity to punish Xiao Fugui, but he didn't point it out. Lafayette was angry, and Xiao Fugui was hit by the wrench after failing in his meritorious deeds. He was frustrated, and at this moment, the crowd came.

The little chef rescued the driver: Lafayette thought he was welcoming the magistrate, but unexpectedly it was bandits, and the team was in chaos. Lafayette was dangerous, and he yelled at Xiao Lizi, but Xiao Lizi, who was afraid of death, only cared about saving his life. Guangxu thought of mother and child's desire to save Lafayette, but due to long-term lack of food and limited strength, Lafayette was touched. In times of crisis, Xiao Fugui sacrificed his life to save him, Lafayette was safe, and the magistrate came, and the crisis was resolved. Lafayette was satisfied with Xiao Fugui and awarded him a reward, but Xiao Fugui took the opportunity to make a request: he hoped to be named the accompanying imperial cook. Lafayette decided to test him. Order three dishes, and you can pass the test if you are satisfied. Toss the hairpin to set the theme. The first question is fish.

The first pot of fish: Xiao Fugui made boiled fish, and because Lafayette had a mild attitude towards Guangxu, he also prepared a portion for Guangxu. Little Lizi was poisoned, and when he saw two bowls, one big and one small, he poisoned the small bowl assigned to Guangxu. After several twists and turns, he succeeded. Xiao Fugui was about to deliver food, but it was heard that Lafayette ordered a big bowl for Guangxu. In a hurry, Xiao Lizi poisoned the big bowl again, but in the panic, he found that all the fish were poisoned, and there was no food for Lafayette, so Xiao Lizi had to throw it all away. Xiao Fugui found that the fish was missing, and he didn't know the reason, so he had to start all over again.

Fish in Stone Pot: Xiao Fugui re-cooked the fish, and was wary of someone destroying it. Xiao Lizi was also afraid of changing again, so he cautiously waited for the final confirmation of Guangxu's job before poisoning him. The dish was finished, but was taken away by the hungry Guangxu. Xiao Fugui and Xiao Lizi tried their best to find a pot, and finally replaced it with stones. Xiao Fugui made a fish in a stone pot, and Xiao Lizi wanted to poison him again, but it was heard that Lafayette wanted to eat with Guangxu, Xiao Lizi was happy that he didn't poison him. The queen mother was satisfied with the fish in stone pot, and then threw a hairpin and set the theme: rice.

Returning the Pot: Xiao Fugui made eight-treasure rice, and Guangxu came to return the pot with apology. Xiao Fugui was worried that he had no helper, so he regarded Guangxu as a thief who stole the pot and detained him as a coolie. Xiao Lizi wanted to poison the rice, but he didn't want to be disturbed by Guangxu, so he couldn't do it. The three of them messed around in the kitchen. Xiao Lizi assigned Xiao Fugui, Xiao Fugui assigned Guangxu, and Guangxu went around to assign Xiao Lizi. The pot turned over and the rice was overturned. Xiaofu drove Guangxu away because of his extravagance.

Bamboo tube rice: Xiao Fugui cooks again, making bamboo tube rice for new ideas. When Xiao Lizi came, he thought it was time to poison him, so he went to chop bamboo with Xiao Fugui. Poison is placed on the inner wall of the bamboo tube of Xiaolizi, and the poison is melted into the rice unconsciously by using steam. Xiao Fugui was shocked when he found out that there was poison in the rice through his golden index finger.

Please rest assured, Xiao Fugui: Xiao Fugui urgently reports the discovery of poison to Xiao Lizi. Xiao Lizi wanted to fool him, but Xiao Fugui insisted on catching the poisoner. Xiao Lizi had no choice but to dress up as the poisoner with a puppet, and acted out a self-written and self-directed play in front of Xiao Fugui. Xiao Fugui mistakenly thought that the poisoner had been eliminated, dispelling his doubts. The news came that Lafayette was going to visit the kitchen, the rice had been thrown out and there was only a little rice left, the two of them were in a hurry.

Lafayette came to the kitchen: In the kitchen, there was a cold pot and a cold stove, Xiao Fugui and Xiao Lizi hurriedly used the little rice left to make delicious crispy rice. Lafayette visited the kitchen and was curious about everything, which disrupted Xiao Fugui's cooking plan (Xiao Fugui wanted to fry, but Lafayette said that frying was not good, so he wanted to steam). The crispy rice was presented, which was delicious but did not meet the requirements of the dinner. Xiao Fugui was in a hurry. The Queen Mother finally decided that if the third dish was cooked satisfactorily, he would still be appointed as the accompanying imperial chef, but if he did not do well, he would be kicked out. Lafayette asked the third question, throwing hairpins on the tree trunk.
