First up, the remaining designers will try to reinvent the wheel-the steering wheel that is- using golf carts as their test vehicles. Then they must turn the Chevy Traverse into the perfect vehicle for a working mom, with veteran TV star, producer and mother Melissa Joan-Hart surveying each car as guest judge. The remaining designers find the need for speed as they craft a computer rendering of a new vehicle inspired by General Motor's SS model racecar used in NASCAR. The focus turns to functionality as the remaining competitors are challenged to design and transform a Chevy Express Van into a unique mobile vehicle for a small dog-grooming company. The designers must not only present their vehicles to the judges, including guest judge and celebrity dog training guru and business owner, Tamar Geller, but also put the vans through a real-world test at a public dog park.
