The film takes action in 2029 in a border town near the power plant. Life in the town flows in the usual way. Guntis (40), a resident of this town, invites his partner Monika (32) to stay with her two children - Joris (9) and Barte (12). But, Monika has a hard time blending in with the quiet life of the town. Her chickens start laying eggs with green yolk, more and more of them every day.
