Sisters Monique and Michelle find themselves in a difficult situation, urgently seeking clarity regarding the estate of their father, Hans. Although they are officially recognized as heirs, they have no information whatsoever about the size or nature of the inheritance. In their search for answers, they are entirely dependent on their stepmother, Els who, however, refuses any form of contact or cooperation. These circumstances have left them in a state of uncertainty and frustration, with both legal and emotional challenges mounting.

Linda’s grandfather passed away in 1995, yet his estate has still not been settled. This is because two of the four heirs are embroiled in a serious dispute, which is significantly delaying the process. These internal conflicts also affect the other heirs, who due to the impasse are unable to access their share of the inheritance and find themselves trapped in a situation that is both legally and emotionally complex.
