In Khao Lak, Liisa is surprised to find the new rebuilt holiday paradise. Liisa and Gerts visit the hospital where they received emergency treatment 20 years ago.

Ismo Kopra, from the Finnish National Criminal Police, returns to Thailand for the first time since the disaster. Back in 2004 he spent over a year in Thailand, leading the identification operation of the Finnish tsunami victims. He meets Liisa and Gerts and gives them answers to questions that have been bothering them for 20 years. Gerts finds the hospital where he once experienced a shocking disappointment.
