Batan Güneş, directed by Temel Gürsu, features the ultimate pairing of Ferdi Tayfur and Necla Nazır again in a story of love, tragedy, and mistaken identity. Ferdi (Ferdi Tayfur) leaves his village to work in abroad to earn the bride price needed to marry his love, Nazlı (Necla Nazır). However, a tragic accident leads to a devastating misunderstanding, and news reaches the village that Ferdi has died. Devastated and facing severe hardship at home, Nazlı is forced to flee to the big city to start over. When a surviving Ferdi eventually returns home to find Nazlı gone, he embarks on an arduous search across the metropolis, navigating city life and bitter twists of fate to reunite with her.
