Case File: Jermaine & Jayson 第 5 集

John takes up the cause of Mike, a man from Hoogeveen whose ex-partner moved abroad three years ago, taking their two young sons with her. Since then, Mike has been unable to see his children a situation that has left deep emotional scars. Together with his team, John begins searching for Mike’s ex-partner and the children in Germany. According to Van de Heuvel, border controls are becoming increasingly strict, yet there is still no official agency to assist parents in locating and reuniting with their missing children. This gap in support highlights the need for better international cooperation and legal frameworks to help parents facing such harrowing situations.
