When Ginger returns from Avalanche Art Academy and ignores everyone around her but Darren, will Macie and Dodie join forces with Mipsy and Miranda to get them to break up? Meanwhile, Noelle loses Carl in a card game to Polly Schuster, a younger kid who is obsessed with birds.

Ginger is throwing a party for Darren that every kid in the school wants to attend. But when Lois and Joann Bishop get into a fight at the grocery store over the last Easter ham on the shelf, Joann bans Hoodsey and Dodie from seeing Carl and Ginger.

Joann Bishop gets a job teaching home economics at the middle school that leaves Dodie mortified when Joann starts hanging with the "cool girls" at school.

Ginger invites Darren to the BFF yearly tradition of going to the county fair, much to the dismay of Dodie, who in turn invites Courtney to annoy Ginger. Carl and Hoodsey tag along and end up freeing a "two headed" pony from the Nature's Oddities Tent.

When emotions stir in Ginger upon seeing Sasha again when she goes back to Camp Caprice, doubt creeps into Ginger's feelings on her relationship with Darren.

Unbeknownst to Lois, Ginger invites Jonas to Thanksgiving dinner. Tensions mount when Carl seems to favor Dr. Dave over his natural father, and the assembled guests, including Mrs. Dave and the Bishop family are somewhat less than amicable.

Ginger, worried about her new course load in high school, ends up getting addicted to the "Mocha Locha Frothinator." Carl tries to walk the straight and narrow path, and is tricked into thinking he has an incurable disease.

Ginger fears that she and her friends will become strangers when they have none of the same classes in high school. She has been asked to speak at her graduation. She has a talk with her father, who gives her a new insite on change. Meanwhile, her mother get's ready for her wedding, and Carl and Hoodsie get ready for their entrance to Lucky Jr. High. They have to get rid of something from their past to put in a time capsil. Carl gives up his petrified eyeball. When he starts to have nightmares about growing up too fast, he digs up the eyeball.

Ginger gets Saturday detention as she sleeps in Ms.Zorski's class (as seen in Stuff'll kill ya) but she has to go to Darren's game. So, she disguises Dodie as her, knowing that Darren sees through the disguise. Will Ginger run to apologize to him before it's too late??! And what'll happen when one of the cheerleaders starts to chat with Darren? Meanwhile Carl and Hoodsey go in the coffee business with Blake Gripling.

Dodie writes a letter, recalling the events of past week. While she's trying to get a spot on the cheer-leading team she see how Darren and Simone get close. Should she tell Ginger and loses Simone's support? In the meantime Carl and Lois go house-hunting.

There had been a bit of tension between Darren and Ginger, and when Darren tells Ginger it's over, she doesn't take it too well. On top of losing her boyfriend, she suffers an appendix rupture, which causes worry in the family. When Jonas shows up to support Ginger, Carl fears Lois will dump Dr. Dave and go back to his father.

Dodie becomes a cheerleader- or at least tries to, however, after discouragement from the Cheerleader Coach, she decides that there might be an easier way to go about becoming a cheerleader... Meanwhile Carl goes with the real estate business with Bob.

The new stain-resistant uniforms of the football team lead to spending cutbacks that hurt Macie and the marching band. When Ginger sets up a "Save the Band" campaign, she finds herself soon with a lot less support than expected. Meanwhile, Carl struggles to hold his "being good"-promise and must be bad one last time, just not at his school.

Ginger and Carl's mom, Lois, and Dr. David Dave are finally getting married! Ginger's helping her mom plan the wedding, but then it seems like someone's trying to sabotage the wedding. Carl, Hoodsey and their old friend, Noelle Sussman, decide to investigate who would want to sabotage Lois and Dr. Dave's wedding, and it later becomes obvious that it's Dr. Dave's mother, who's hiring Nikki LaPorte to play the role of Dr. Dave's old girlfriend.

Courtney's dad, Prescott, is arrested for insider-trading, and the Gripling family essentially goes broke--they're forced to give up their home and most of their possessions, and even end up moving into the Foutley family's old house. Also, Ginger and her family end up moving to the same neighborhood that the Gripling family previously lived in
