Vinex women Veerle and Sara are each stuck in the rut of their own family life. After a chance but confrontational meeting in the supermarket, they find an ally in each other in all the pent-up annoyances about everyday life. Armed with the found gun of the clumsy criminal Tarik, they decide to do things a little differently from that moment on.

CCTV footage of the accidental pet store robbery has been shown on television. As a result, Veerle and Sara are each forced to undergo a metamorphosis. Veerle's regular hairdresser initially refuses to cooperate, but Veerle puts pressure on him. On her way back from the hairdresser, Sara intervenes when Tarik tries to rob a gas station.

Tarik is forcibly hiding in Veerle's mobile home, but is starving. Veerle has to report her not stolen car, which is now simply hidden in the bushes next to a country road. The police points out to Veerle that the car was used as a getaway car during a robbery at a gas station. Sara tries incognito to interview Debbie from the pet store about the robbery Sara herself was involved in.

Both Debbie and Tarik are now held hostage in the caravan. After the successful interview with Debbie, Sara at work now also has Debbie's disappearance split in her stomach. This is not only to Sara's inconvenience, but also to the great dismay of her colleague, the seasoned crime reporter Romano Vorst. Meanwhile, Veerle gets into a fight with an employee of the child health clinic.

The police confronts Veerle with her recovered car, after which Veerle immediately wants to stop the criminal adventure. Sara sees her dream career as a crime journalist fall to pieces.

Under pressure from Bert, Veerle has trouble keeping up appearances at home. Romano doesn't trust Sara's approach to the missing person case. Sara is in all states when Debbie and Tarik are gone.

Veerle has to keep Bert company during a meeting. There she runs into Sara and Martijn. To prevent their double lives from coming true, Veerle and Sara have to pull out all the stops.

Bert has invited Martijn, Sara and the children to the campsite. Veerle and Sara try to save what can be saved. And then Romano's detective talent threatens to spoil the party.
