Kaori Saejima's son, Haruto is accepted into the affiliate high school of Teito Medical University. Surprised since Haruto did not have the best grades, the wives of Sky Castle, Sae Asami, Kyoko Nikaido, and Misaki Natsume, are determined to learn the secret.

Kaori Saejima, supposedly joyous after her son's school acceptance, committed suicide. In the luxurious "Sky Castle" neighborhood, Sae Asami finds Haruto's diary revealing his resentment towards his overbearing parents who pressured him into studying excessively and stunted his identity, driving Kaori to her demise.

To help her daughter Ruri, who struggles academically and feels frustrated, Sae humbles herself to secure a deal with the admired exam coordinator, Ms. Kujo. Despite reservations, Sae reluctantly agrees to a scheme involving Ruri, Aoba, and Miku to secure Ruri's admission to a prestigious school, fulfilling her prior commitment to Kujo.

Sae aims for her daughter, Ruri, to become student council president to boost her reputation. Upon discovering Miku's hidden money-making scheme, Sae exposes it, forcing Miku to withdraw her candidacy. Despite concerns for Miku, Sae is coerced by Kujo to engage a negotiation with Miku.

Sae is advised by Ms. Kujo, an exam tutor, to let Ruri, her daughter's rival, Miku to stay with them. Surprisingly, Miku's believed-deceased dad is actually Sae's husband, Hideyo! Miku conceals her true identity, sparking intrigue within the household, especially towards Sae's husband Hideyo, who is oblivious to the potential family disruption.

Sae's perfect wealthy wife image shatters when her fabricated background is exposed at Sky Castle. Her daughter Ruri, raised away from her bitter past, trusts only tutor, Ms. Kujo. Kyoko questions Kujo's true nature after accurate mock questions. Kyoko investigates with Izumi and Misaki, uncovering a startling truth.

After a DNA test reveals Miku is her husband's daughter, Sae's family faces turmoil. Miku's behavior worsens, causing tension. Sae, burdened by this secret, struggles as Ruri, unaware of the truth, grows distant. The strained mother-daughter relationship leads Ruri to rely on tutor Ayaka Kujo solely.

Miku Yamada fell and became unconscious during her birthday party. She is then rushed to Teito Hospital where her father, unaware of their relationship, prioritizes another critical patient. Suspicion falls on Ruri by the police, leading her to seek help from Ayaka Kujo.

The police investigation of Sae Asami's daughter, Ruri takes a bad turn when a "witness" suddenly emerges, leading to the arrest of Miku's friend, Aoba, for manslaughter. Izumi and Kohei fight to prove their son's innocence, while neighbors Kyoko and Misaki join forces with Sae to find the mysterious witness and uncover the truth.
