In the luxurious "Sky Castle" neighborhood, Sae Asami finds Haruto's diary revealing his resentment towards his overbearing parents who pressured him into studying excessively and stunted his identity, driving Kaori to her demise.

To help her daughter Ruri, who struggles academically and feels frustrated, Sae humbles herself to secure a deal with the admired exam coordinator, Ms. Kujo. Despite reservations, Sae reluctantly agrees to a scheme involving Ruri, Aoba, and Miku to secure Ruri's admission to a prestigious school, fulfilling her prior commitment to Kujo.

Sae aims for her daughter, Ruri, to become student council president to boost her reputation. Upon discovering Miku's hidden money-making scheme, Sae exposes it, forcing Miku to withdraw her candidacy. Despite concerns for Miku, Sae is coerced by Kujo to engage a negotiation with Miku.

The police investigation of Sae Asami's daughter, Ruri takes a bad turn when a "witness" suddenly emerges, leading to the arrest of Miku's friend, Aoba, for manslaughter. Izumi and Kohei fight to prove their son's innocence, while neighbors Kyoko and Misaki join forces with Sae to find the mysterious witness and uncover the truth.
