As the clandestine kidnapping plot grows deadlier, Reardon removes himself further from the weed industry and moves closer towards his goal of legitimacy. Mary receives pressure from the CIA to stop her investigation of the Blackmire group, while an imminent turf war forces her to persuade Reardon to split his eastern drug connections between two rival gangs.

When Mary learns of the CIA's interest in Blackmire, she recognizes an opportunity to use Reardon and Julianna and make CSIS a key player in the global intelligence game.
