Episode 1 第1話

The wooden houses, tenement houses, and resettlement areas were snail dwellings of the low class in the 1950s and 1960s. The kitchen in the seven-story building is located in the corridor, and the seven-compartment toilets are shared. In the 1970s, the fishing industry declined, and fishermen moored their boats in typhoon shelters for a long time, and they were called boat owners. In Wah Fu Village, public housing estates known as "civilian mansions" were not popular when they were built one after another in 1967? In 1978, the government launched the Home Ownership Scheme, and the first phase of Sui Wo Court in Sha Tin was very popular. Private housing estates also began to appear in those days. The first middle-class housing estate in Hong Kong was represented by Mei Foo Sun Chuen. As the population increases, reclaimed houses have become a source of land. At present, 70 people in Tseung Kwan O live on reclaimed land.

Episode 2 第2話

In the early days, Hong Kong was poor in materials, many families had many children, and there were so many children. What kind of leisure and entertainment were there? Shooting waves, playing with doll paper, jumping elastic ropes, going to the park to play Tai Tai, toys are not important, the most important thing is to play with a group of people. Liyuan and Haw Par Villa have all left their footprints, camping on the top of the mountain or swimming in the swimming shed. These are the leisure programs of the previous generation. As for spiritual entertainment, buy a dating report in the afternoon, a price has a double enjoyment. If you have spare money, you can go to a cafe to listen to Cantonese opera. Episode 3 第3話

Half a century ago, there were gatekeepers and conductors on buses, and it took half an hour to wait for the bus. Later, there were double-decker buses, minibuses and subways, and the situation improved. There is no submarine tunnel, and cars have to take a boat to cross the sea. Before the Lion Rock Tunnel opened to traffic, it would take half a day to get out of the urban area from the New Territories. Trains are easier to travel far, but in the age of diesel trains, the windows were opened, and the smell of exhaust gas and pig trucks persisted for a long time. After half a century, astronauts have gone to the moon, and Hong Kong’s transportation development has undergone "fly-like" changes.

Episode 4 第4話

In the past, people said that "I do not make a head start." However, in the last century, industry supported the entire Hong Kong economy, and in its heyday accounted for about one-third of the GDP. Nearly half of the "wage earners" are engaged in the manufacturing industry. I believe everyone has an impression of many classic products made in Hong Kong that year. Knitting factories, hardware factories, toy factories, electrical appliances factories, etc. are really countless. Do you still remember the days when the market was good, the stock market was booming, and the "shark fin fishing for rice"? The trade fair put forward the slogan "Hong Kong people use Hong Kong goods", and the trade fair lady election. With the decline of industry, Hong Kong's economy has been supported by tourism and service industries.

In the age when the public medical system was not yet complete, everyone asked for their own blessings, and never fell ill into the hospital. In the 1970s, government hospitals were completed and expanded one after another. Although the number of beds increased, they still had to sleep on camp beds in the corridors of the wards. Civic education gradually emerged in the 1970s and 1980s. Garbage bugs, traffic safety campaigns, and free vaccines are all related to the public.

Episode 6 第6話

In the 1960s and 1970s, a large number of people came to Hong Kong from the Mainland. In the days when there were no supermarkets, it was not an easy task to buy Qichai, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar tea. Offices and restaurants provided conveniences. The years of rice shop and rice are still fresh in my memory. Before the 1980s, packaged meals were also called Fu Shi, or welfare meals. Some bosses would provide lunch to their employees. The government lottery was introduced in 1962. Each bet sells for two yuan. You have to go to the Great Hall to see if you have won the lottery. In Hong Kong half a century ago, telephone booths on the street were used to make calls. Pagers appeared in the 1980s, and communication between people became more convenient.
