Well it seemed like a good idea. What’s up with Philips’ new Bluetooth Turntable and CD Player?

I've managed to acquire another forgotten/hidden format. Let's try it out.

Some things to consider when choosing a Lava lamp.

The Aurzen Zip is a Pico Projector that makes life awkward for itself by relying solely on Wireless connectivity when Sony showed how sockets and wires worked a lot better, ten years ago.

You asked so I bought. A look at three more Mathmos Lava Lamps. The Giant Rokit, new generation Neo and candle powered Mini Fireflow.

The Manya Cynus is not just a difficult product name to get past a spell checker - it's also a robotic chess playing arm. This was a Kickstarter in 2025. Most of the 'reviews' you'll find for this were adverts published to promote the Kickstarter campaign in September 2025. The one I *paid for* on Kickstarter turned up in February 2026 and so I'm now trying it out.
